Westerly

Westerly Yachts was a British yacht manufacturer that produced a range of sailboats from the 1960s to the 1990s. The company was founded in 1963 by two former boat builders from the Pearson Yachts company in the United States, but it was later sold to the British-based Westerly Marine Construction company in 1972. Westerly Yachts became known for producing a range of popular sailing yachts that were designed for cruising and racing. Some of their most famous models include the Westerly Centaur, the Westerly Konsort, and the Westerly Oceanlord. Unfortunately, the Westerly Yachts company ceased production in 2000 due to financial difficulties, but their yachts are still popular on the used boat market and among sailing enthusiasts.
